Zita Swoon is one of those Antwerp bands, that make Antwerp one of the musical centers of Europe. Zita Swoon (before Moondog Jr.) existed already in 1993, even before dEUS was there, but the band became famous only after dEUS. The biggest reason for that is that Stef Kamil Carlens played with both bands. “There’s enough simple music already”, a key-sentence that seems to have become the band’s own slogan, their music is ingenious. Zita Swoon have come of age. They’ve matured, focused and are all too willing to play to us.
