The British group White Lies presents its new album “Friends”. You can’t think of a better name: the three friends are together since ten years.

At the very beginning of the group’s history, three friends from high school had choice the name of Fear of Flying The name change was accompanied by a sound transformation. The new dark sound, referring to post-punk lights, could not be associated with the old name.

At the turn of 2008 – 2009, White Lies entered the prestigious BBC list “The Sound of. . .. The first CD “To Lose My Life. . .” was released in January 2009 and immediately won first place in the British charts and also made a very convincing debut in the charts of the Scandinavian countries.

As is usually the case for lucky newcomers, the White Lies have planned a long journey. During the different shows, the audience sang at the same time as all the songs. The young static men in black did not disappoint the fans.

The next album “Ritual” was only released in 2011, its producer was the legendary Alan Mulder (Marilyn Manson, The Killers, etc. ). The group confidently ranked in the European charts and improved its position in the United States. In the third album, White Lies moved to a more melodic sound, but they kept their own dark tones.

“Friends” – the last album with songs from the biggest exhibition. Over the past 10 years, White Lies have evolved from a school group to a coherent adult group with an easily recognizable sound, proven by hundreds of concerts and festivals.
