Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure – all four members of the 1980s original lineup – are back together for the first time since performing at Live Aid in 1985, for an Ultravox reunion tour in 2010. Rejecting the abrasive guitars of their punk-era contemporaries in favor of lushly romantic synthesizers, Ultravox emerged as one of the primary influences on the British electro-pop, new wave movement of the early ’80s alongside Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Depeche Mode. Hits such as Vienna, Hymn, Dancing With Tears In My Eyes and Lament enjoyed worldwide success. After a fantastic reception of the band’s reunion in the UK, Ultravox will finally venture out to Europe as well and also play a first ever Luxembourg show!
