The Cardigans count as one of the best pop bands of the ’90s. With theircurrent album, Long Gone Before Daylight, the band from Sweden areinternational superstars by now. And it is still all about melodies andcleverly crafted, intelligent modern tunes. Nina Persson’s vocals sometimesgo down like some silky liqueur, then again they kick you in the belly uponreaching there. Lovefool was the most played radio song in 1997… but a lothappened since then. The phenomenal albums such as First Band On The Moonand Gran Turismo just can’t help being incredibly classy pop treats. TheCardigans really know what to do with a chorus… take Erase And Rewind orMy Favourite Game… it’s pop to die for, basically. The Cardigans are areal treasure of a band and den Atelier is very proud to stage them for thefirst time in Luxembourg.
