ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Comedy legend and the most senile member of Monty Python, John Cleese, will be bringing his one-man show and his unique comedic perspective to an audience in Luxembourg for the first time. Best known for his idiosyncratic turns in Monty Phython’s Flying Circus and Fawlty Towers, John Cleese will now be going for something completely different! Weston-super-Mare’s most famous son is probably best known for his incarnation as the demented Torquay hotelier Basil Fawlty and for co-founding the groundbreaking Monty Python’s Flying Circus with Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Graham Chapman and Carol Cleveland. John’s best-selling memoir So, Anyway, published in 2014, is packed with hilarious anecdotes about his colourful life and career, which spans more than 50 years. Now audiences will have the opportunity to hear these stories and others, up close and personal, from the legend himself. The second half of the show includes a Q&A, where members of the audience can put their questions to the man behind the legend, live on stage. Catch him if you can, but whatever you do, don’t mention the dead parrot!
