ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Blue October are back in the headlines with their new album, Any Man In America, and an excellent first single, The Feel Again (Stay). Frontman Justin Furstenfeld is continuously pushing this band forward into confident new territory as a songwriter and as a storyteller. Anyone’s first attraction to Blue October is the voice… And why becomes instantly clear when listening to hits such as Hate Me, Into The Ocean or the inescapable hitsingle, Jump Rope, of the previous album, Approaching Normal, that’s still on everyone’s ears just about everywhere… The band from Houston, Texas are building on a guitar and violin-driven sound, setting their pained-yet-hopeful lyrics to moody-yet-catchy tunes with touches of electronica and piano-laced balladry. With their epic live shows and eclectic songs about depression, delusion and cathartic transcendence, Blue October has amassed a strong, loyal following.
