Original. This is probably the best way to describe Bakermat’s music. In any case, this is the main objective of Lodewijk Fluttert. Make music that doesn’t yet exist. By combining styles that have never been associated before, the 26-year-old Amsterdam native surprises his fans and colleagues from all over the world. And although his productions are very varied, there is always a key element that connects them: an undeniable feel-good sound! The unique sound of Bakermat simply makes you happy!

With his first single “One Day”, based on the sample of Martin Luther King’s famous speech “I have a dream”, he immediately hit hard. His successor “Zomer”, released the same year, also became a hit. Since then, he has continued to build a loyal fan base of young people in search of something other than traditional and underground music. His music allows him to fall into the grey zone between the two, which he is very proud of.

The success of this young artist has taken him to the stages of the world’s biggest festivals, including Tomorroland, where he has hosted his own stage, for three consecutive editions (2014-2016). However, Bakermat took a one-year break from touring to focus on musical experimentation. The result: new music that will be released later this year! He will then present his new songs live at a concert at den Atelier on Saturday 9th March.
