Since they formed in 1993, Finnish orchestral rock band Apocalyptica has released seven studio albums featuring numerous cello-based instrumentals along with some vocal-based songs. Whatever styles they’ve explored – from atmospheric interludes to fast, battering rhythms – their music has always been gripping, dynamic and full of melody. The fact remains that never before had a group of classically-trained cellists, metal fans to a man, attempted to fuse together the seemingly disparate worlds of classical music & hard rock… of Prokofiev & Pantera… Shostakovich & Slayer… to seek out the middle ground between the mosh and the orchestra pit, the dinner and the leather jacket, whilst being 100% convincing…

APOCALYPTICA’s show scheduled at the Atelier on Thursday, 30^th April 2015 is postponed to Sunday, 25^th October 2015.

Tickets already bought remain of course valid for the new date.

“Apocalyptica are super excited to announce the rescheduled dates for our European headline tour! The dates have been moved from April to October / November 2015. This tour will be the first time we unveil the full headlining show for our new album which will be released next year! We are really sorry to have to reschedule the tour but unfortunately that’s necessary to be able to bring you the full show you want to see. And you will love it when you see it! As for the album.. it is sounding truly remarkable.”
