Given the bands lineage in Tom DeLonge (Blink 182), Atom Willard (The Offspring, Rocket From The Crypt), Matt Wachter (30 Seconds to Mars), David Kennedy (Over My Dead Body, Box Car Racer), it explains the draw of thousands of fans to their tight and expertly delivered rock shows. AvA’s albums get minimal airplay on contemporary commercial radio. Nevertheless, their punters are being hip and savvy enough to show up at “the biggest secret in their town.” AvA are on firm footing in the 21st century simply on their own merits. Love is the title of their currently third and arguably best studio release.
