With his unique blend of haunting lyrics, hardcore hip-hop beats and humorous storytelling, the British indie singer-songwriter Baxter Dury has gained a reputation as one of the most innovative and original wordsmith in the music scene today. His songs are a theatrical journey into the world of a magnificent loser, supported by warm, funky bass lines and lascivious rhythms. His last album I Thought I Was Better Than You released in 2023 is a more autobiographical work than his past ones, which makes it more even more unique.
