ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Kult is probably THE most legendary band from Poland. They’ve found together in 1982 in Warsaw, surrounding songwriter and vocalist Kazik Staszewski. 30 years later, the band is still busy recording new material. Kult emerged from the vivid punk rock scene in Warsaw and opened itself up to experiments with a plethora of different genres such as psychedelic rock, jazz, ska and urban folklore. Kult’s first album had been censored by the communist regime in 1986 and they’ve come a long way ever since then. The band recently recorded an MTV Unplugged album that first brought them into the limelight beyond the borders of their native Poland. Kult is touring now to make up with fans all across Europe and the US.
