The singles Life and Believer brought Arid to the attention of the general public, first in their native Belgium and soon afterwards across the borders. In the beginning, Soulwax and Ozark Henry assisted the band surrounding charismatic frontman Jasper Steverlinck building a career and a solid live reputation. Arid combines songs with great melodies, superb musicians and a voice that’s best described as “Jeff Buckley meets Thom Yorke”. Passionate, warm and rocking songs is what the audience can expect.
