Nicholas Edward Cave, the Australian rock musician, songwriter, author, screenwriter and occasional actor maintains his position on the throne as king of passionate, darkly beautiful pop/rock music. Nick Cave continues to explore his obsessions with religion, death, love, America, and violence with a bizarre, sometimes self-consciously eclectic hybrid of blues, gospel, rock, and arty post-punk. Nick Cave has this frightening passion… This will be a fully seated show (free, unnumbered seating). This will NOT be a “spoken word” show. Nick Cave – on vocals and grand piano – will be accompanied on stage by bassist Martyn Casey, drummer James Sclavunos and multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis – all three being members of The Bad Seeds.
