The bowmen of the apocalypse… Simply, there is no other band like Finland’s Apocalyptica – a four-strong collective of classically-tutored cellists (with attitude!) who have successfully brought together the seemingly disparate worlds of classical music & hard rock without diluting either one. The band initially embraced fame in 1996 by playing Metallica covers, now the quartet is part of the worldwide respected establishment of the genre. With a new album in their flightcases, Apocalyptica will be back to the Grand Duchy and play an Atelier-promoted show at the Kulturfabrik in Esch-Alzette!
